The Power of Individual Gardens
Each garden, whether it’s a community space or your own backyard, plays a vital role in supporting the local ecosystem. Your garden is not just a personal retreat; it’s part of a larger interconnected system that sustains biodiversity and fosters climate resilience. Through GreenLinks and in partnership with Unleash the Wild—a project supported by the California Garden Clubs, Inc. (CGCI)—we focus on the collective power of individual gardens.
Inspired by Doug Tallamy’s Homegrown National Park concept, we recognize that every garden, no matter the size, can serve as a sanctuary for wildlife and native plants. By nurturing pollinator-friendly spaces, you are actively contributing to a greener, more resilient community. We invite you to explore this concept and join the movement that is transforming gardens across the nation.
